I received my arbor quite awhile ago but the one I received was not the one pictured and the package had a hole in it and a part fell out during transport. Wayfair ordered the new part but the part itself wasn’t available, so they sent a whole new arbor. I still didn’t receive the one pictured, but it’s close to the same. The arbor is not very sturdy and will work best if it has something to lean against or be attached to. This one will be up against my storage building as shown. I’m only 5’2” tall, so I left one of the side pieces off of each side to shorten it. Shortening it also made it a little more stable to stand on its own. I was glad I was able to alter it to make it more user friendly. The temps are in the high 90’s here now, so I won’t be planting anything on it until the cool Fall weather gets here. I’m hoping I will be able to edit my review once I get something growing on it.

I absolutely love this metal garden arch! It was easy to assemble, feels sturdy once installed, and adds so much charm to my garden. It has such a pretty design and it’s perfect for climbing plants. My plan is to add climbing roses to grow over it.

Look at the base. It is nothing like the advertising. Cannot be stood by itself. If on solid surface must be placed on a base and secured or into the ground with the stakes provided. It is fine for me because I’m using it outdoors for a trailing plant. Assembly was relatively easy after using common sense. The instructions were awful. All pictures. No tips.

The base looks nothing like that. It doesn’t stick out in the U shape- there are two holes with landscaping pin that you put through it. Because the base is just sticks it’s not very sturdy indoors & I purchased this specifically because of the base since it was being used for a party- we ended up moving it because it wobbled & we were afraid it was going to fall on the guests as they came through. You will need something to stabilize it, which is what we used the planters with the willow for. The construction is good, it’s not very strong, so don’t expect it to hold heavy plants, but something like passion vine would be fine. Despite the fact the base was different than pictured it worked, it held up, it’s easy to put together & I’m happy with it.

This is a great item for the outside. The only issue was the tool did not fit properly on the screws which made it a little bit harder to put together. Otherwise it is well made and looks really nice on top of the stairs outside.
