I was able to put it together by myself. I mostly used my own tools including a small hand clamp to hold pieces together while assembling. I would recommend, you only finger tighten till everything it's all together then go back and tighten the bolts up.

Everyone loves this swivel egg chair in our family room which compliments the Pettis 42'' Wide Tufted Papasan Chair (also from Wayfair) and our dark brown leather reclining loveseat. We added a 16-inch pillow under the cushion (picked up at a thrift store), a few leopard throw pillows and a leopard and zebra motif rug. It all comes together in a very cozy, exotic way.
