Statues flamants en fer Reid (Ensemble de 4)

We received the set of 4, coated them as advised, then set three of them out about 60 days ago. AThe bird that stands on one leg broke... probably not surprising, since all the torque from the full sttue is focused at th is one critical joint. The other two are still solidly in place. Turns out that the mfgr warranty is only 30 days for this expensive item and we had not purchased the extended coverage. Our opinion is that these are quite fragile despite being "iron" so if you really want them get the extended coverage. Also, the supplied staples to anchor the statues with looked totally inadequate, so I had used 12" - the short and fragile ones that were supplied would not even hold the statues in place in a light breeze.

If you are considering ordering this product, make sure you include the 3 years protection plan. The SunGuard did work for a short period of the seasons (summer and winter). I ordered this product about 2% years ago. The wing rusted and broke off, and now it started on the other side, neck also rusted away. See pictures below.

The picture doesn’t do them justice! The flamingos are beautiful. We have had them out for a year and they have started to fade. I may spray them with a protectant to prevent future fading.
