This table is appropriately sized for a smaller space. It does have some structural issues. The holes that were predrilled on the table were off. It required drilling larger holes to get this table assembled. One of the chairs had a broken cross support between the two rear legs. I glued it in place and am hoping it will hold up. The table cross beams are narrow and with the width of the chairs it is impossible to slide the chair in far enough to comfortably dine at the table. This renders the set pretty useless for dining and more of a cocktail table. Also, if you are short (I am 5'4"), you will need a booster pillow to sit higher at the table. One a plus note, the chairs are extremely comfortable! If the table were 8 inches wider at the ends and a few inches wider on the chair sides, it would be much more useful. I am still giving it 4 stars since it does fit a small space and will fold for storage. This table will require maintenance and I plan to get some teak oil to make it last - especially here in CO! It is worth the maintenance, is attractive, and compact, and has super comfy adjustable chairs.
