This chair has serious issues. The reclining mechanism doesn't hold its position, so be prepared to be jolted back one, two, or even three positions at once. Definitely don't have a cup of coffee or glass of wine in your hand when you sit in it. Upon receiving my complaint, the company did send replacement brackets which do work better. The second, third, and fourth positions will hold, but the first position still won't hold, so you can't sit straight up in the chair. The chair material seems of good quality, the cushions, however, are little thicker that a towel. Will purchase foam to bulk them up. Overall, I would have returned if it wouldn't have been such a pain to disassemble and repackage.
