Sawyer 78' Teak Outdoor Patio Sofa

Was good initially but did not last. About 3 years after buying it started to fall apart.

UPDATE ON INITIAL 5-star review: These pieces lasted less than 2 full summers. The wicker on all FOUR of the sofas has cracked/split and they've barely been sat on. With quality teak/resin wicker, they should have been useful for years! I'm sad/disappointed because I was initially so pleased. Plan on less than two years of use with any exposure to the elements. We are very pleased with the quality of this sofa - so much so that we bought FOUR! I echo what others have said: they're easy to put together. Because of the gray finish, I worry that they may not hold up as well as true 100% Grade A teak. Per the manufacturer, they use grade "A/B" and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. They are actually really comfortable and I don't worry about leaving them out at all. I highly recommend this product line.

This sofa was the perfect addition to our outdoor living space. We enjoy watching games outside under the cedar tree sitting on this patio sofa. It’s maintained its appearance well. I recommend.

The sofa is nice but one of the legs is shorter so the whole thing is off kilter. It doesn’t even have some sort of adjustable part to accommodate this issue. We will try to take it completely apart and reassemble and see if that fixes it, and fingers crossed that it does, because other than that I love it, but I really wish it did not require so much effort for something basic like the legs to all touch the ground. We have the matching chair and it’s great no issues so maybe we just received a defective sofa.

Total waste of money! Within 3 months of arrival, the fake gray "teak" finish peeled off the wood frames on all the pieces. Wayfair refuse to take it back, repair, or replace it. They couldn't even provide stain for me to fix it. I ended up stripping, sanding and painting all the furniture. It took 3 days to tape off the rattan from the wood and paint 3 coats. They looked great after this, and to this day, the paint is holding up. Now a much more significant failure, rendering the furniture useless. All the plastic rattan strips have cracked from sun exposure, breaking away from the frames. Totally unsafe to sit on the pieces now. I plan to throw the whole set away of couch, loveseat and chair. $2000 wasted. Never WayFair again.
