Incredibly comfortable to my back because of how it is shaped! The wood is colored as pictured - it's light - not rich/teak - and not finished (has some roughness that could be sanded out).

Nice chairs but the wood came unfinished which is a little disappointing considering the price. I bought a water proof wood finish to give them so moisture and seal the wood and they look much better now.

The chairs look great!!! Easy to assemble. One arrived cracked and the replacement came within 5 days.
