who knew a garden watering can was a weirdly tricky item to get right My local greenhouse had an ugly one for $40, and very few online that come with the spreader-spout, and can't find that attachment separately... I knew there had to be cute ones out there for less. and didn't want a heavier (metal) one as i need my mom to be able to lift it when i'm not around. It arrived slightly smashed in, and the box showed it to have been done in shipping, not Wayfair's fault. i was able to push it back out with a gardening tool -- carefully, as i didn't want it to crack but i wanted it to sit right. Well, it didn't crack, it doesn't quite sit right, but whatever. Long and short of it is... it works! you have to tighten the white spout, and again, i was worried that it could break if i cranked it too much, but so far, so good. the plastic isn't thick but it'll hold up a few years it seems. the size holds a good amount of water to cover a flower bed or sprinkle over herb/veg garden (might need two trips), and the spout -- the whole reason i got it! -- makes the pour more delicate, so you don't crush delicate growth.
