Logan Square 49.25 Lb. Cast Iron Free Standing Umbrella Base

This is a great umbrella stand. It arrived quickly and decently packaged. It is quite heavy and will not be moved with the strong local winds. I definitely would recommend this item. Just remember to place it exactly where you want it the first time.

The umbrella base is very heavy and holds my big umbrella up great. There is an adjustable ring on the pole to fit the size of the pole you need thats attached to your umbrella. It looks great, and I like the design and color of it.

This is a nice and sturdy umbrella base. It’s heavy and attractive and can really hold a decent sized umbrella. But in just three weeks, it’s already rusting…on the inside and outside. Granted, I live in the heat, humidity and salt air capital, Florida. But what will this look like in three months What kind of rusty mess will I have on my pool deck That remains to be seen but I’m worried now. That would not come off of many surfaces, so take this into consideration when you are deciding which base to buy. It is also hot enough to fry an egg on it since I don’t keep an umbrella up all the time, so it’s in the sun. So I got burnt moving it into an open space to open the umbrella. You may need it for a completely different environment and reason. In that case, it is heavy, pretty and works well.

The umbrella base is made of cast iron and very sturdy and heavy. It’s ornate and pretty and seems durable. It holds the umbrella tightly in place. My daughter loves the umbrella and base on her porch.

This umbrella stand is very heavy - much too heavy for the shipping box and packing it came in. Be sure to check that the screw fits in to the tube properly - my first one was defective - but Wayfair replaced it quickly. The base is not perfectly round, which I can live with, but is nicely painted. My biggest disappointment is in the finishing of the underside. It is extremely rough and sharp and care must be taken to handle it. It is, in fact so unevenly and roughly finished that I likely will not be using this. My plan was to use this on my flagstone patio, but I'm concerned about the sharp edges leaving gouges in the stone. The weight is just what I was looking for, but this one is poorly made and there are nicer ones available for the price.
