Take a look at this table. Lovely looking and by the price, you'd expect a decent quality product, right? Well, guess again. My wife and I bought one of these tables. It looked good, the price was okay, and it was made in Vietnam. The latter was important. I spent 4 years in the military during that war and know how horribly the people of that nation suffered. I've been rooting for them ever since. And, I figured here was another opportunity to indirectly help make the lives of some folks a bit better. But, when we got the table, took it out of the box and began putting it together, I found the workmanship to be shoddy (for example, holes didn't line up or didn't exist, there were scrapes on one of the supports and the finish needed at least one more coat). We decided that it wasn't worth the hours of work it would take to take it apart, package it up and ship it back. We also decided that the only ones who really got screwed on this deal were the low wage Vietnamese working in crummy conditions and folks like us who overpaid. Shame on Wayfair and its suppliers. As for us and our house - we've decided never to do business with Wayfair again.
