We returned to tent camping last year for some of our annual Western states hiking trips. This tent is an upgrade to the cramped, 2-person tent we used last year. Overall, up to this point, this tent has been a great purchase - fair price, extra space for sleeping & gear, easy to setup and, most importantly, the ability to fully stand up to get dressed. In full sunlight, the tent is very warm inside. However, at night, with the entire screened roof covered with the rain fly, the tent design provides very good ventilation making for very comfortable sleeping. We camped in two different spots for several days at a time. First site had great sunny, dry weather until the 4th day. The rear of the tent was subjected to 30mph wind gusts making the back resemble the sail of a boat. The fly guy lines held but one of the corner fiberglass poles folded over under the pressure of the wind. It quickly snapped back to position but the entire rear and side panels facing the wind were under considerable stress. We improvised additional guy lines to support the three corner poles subjected to the wind to stabilize the entire structure - see pics. After retiring for the evening, the winds died down but were followed by storms with significant rain. The tent remained dry inside! At the second site, the tent was subjected to a gentle, soaking rain one day and, again, remained completely dry inside. Very satisfied with this tent.

I’ve had this tent for nearly 3 years and it’s held up really well. Very roomy inside, easy to set up alone. With proper care I can see it lasting a long time.

I find folding the tent difficult with the attached poles.. I had this same model without the attached poles and it was much easier to fold and raise. The sleeves that the poles slid through made it easier to raise the tent by myself on the older model. I liked those better than the clips.

I lived in this tent last year during the winter storms and everything. I was amazed and grateful for this tent because it kept me and my family safe from the elements.
