This grill/smoker is well engineered and built well. We can barbeque base burgers, sausage dogs and so on. Have some fun and slow cook/smoke ribs, brisket, chicken and more. Throw on vegetables if you wish. We made a very nice pizza on this grill. Lots of extra accessories are available to meet your needs. Last.....we made breakfast on the flat iron grill. We liked how solid this unit is. We will be using this grill year around and many years to come

Never used a smoker in my life. Bought the Kamando grill a week before Thanksgiving. Was going to cook for about 20 people. Decided to do two turkeys. I always deep fry one, and everyone ravs about how those turn out. Decided I'd smoke one in the Kamando grill. There was not an ounce of smoked turkey left after the meal. All wanted me to smoke one for Christmas dinner. Very easy to use and works great.
