Thick, but a little fragile at the edge. They do not come with metal frame like other brands, but thick enough not to be floppy at this large size. Using as a trellis outdoors for a vine to grow on (see tiny plant at bottom left) and to hide the air conditioner. We cut the other panels by about 1 foot to fit the space and framed them with 2x4s. Used panels from Matrix Decor (also avail from Wayfair) for the side panels. Used "tree of life" for the contrast panel in the center. The "tree of life is a little thicker, but is more fragile and doesn't come with metal edging. We mixed and matched, but wouldn't recommend if you are putting them next to each other without some framing to separate. They have slightly different textures and thicknesses. They are different brands, afterall. The tree of life has a slight wood grain texture.
