This cooler is 20 lbs which is not a lot but it's handle was uncomfortable to carry around and does not distribute the weight properly. I would probably get the wheeled version of this. Otherwise, it works almost as good as a YETI and price was reasonable. It holds food cold for about 5 days as long as you keep changing the ice every 3rd day or so, if you have ice packs they also stay pretty cold for about 4 days...
