From a distance it looks like the face is actually carved into the tree. My kids love it. I’m just hoping the wind doesn’t blow down any of the pieces, since they are only hanging on by one screw, and I don’t think this material they are made of will survive a fall.

It was not what I thought it was. Too small so I returned it.
