This is a large and sturdy umbrella. I bought in brown to block more sunlight. It has faded but is in full sun all day. I did add weight to the base. It has held up through many Michigan thunderstorms/high winds this season. I would buy again and recommend.

Large deck umbrella with easy to operate controls for raising and closing. First rate materials from the canapie to brass controls. Assembled and shipped ready to use.

This umbrella worked well for about 2 summers and then it broke during high winds. My deck is on the 2nd floor and my home faces northeast, so the deck received a lot of wind from 2 directions. For a home with not a lot of strong winds I would say this is a good sturdy umbrella. The quality was better than most.
