Note the flour-de-lis at the top of the seven rods. There is a hole at the bottom of each rod that allows a screw to pass through into the upper and lower horizontal square tubing to secure the rods. However the manufacturer produces the rod without concern for alignment. I received the gate twice, and of the (total) fourteen rods, none were properly drilled. I will redial, but for the price the gates should be quality checked. It's a simple manufacturing technique to create a fixture to set the rods in pace using the fleur-de-lis to align the rods.

It was much heavier and more study than it appeared online. I am still waiting on help with the installation, as I will be unable to do it alone.

This gate worked out perfect for us. We created a deck and dog area and the gate was exactly what we needed.

This gate is great, just what I needed. Not only did it fit my space perfectly it provides just the needed barrier to keep out critters, and it's tall enough that no one can step over it as they could with my last gate, which is what I was after. Not only did it arrive quickly and in great condition, it was on sale! what more could I ask? Thanks as always Wayfair!
