I had high hopes for this awning but I was disappointed in the quality of construction and materials. The stripes faded on the front of the awning after only 6 months of owning. The fabric edging is frayed. The awning itself is flimsy and does not hold up in the wind. Overall I would not recommend

Arrived very quickly after ordering. The instructions are straight forward and easy to understand. Comes assembled. You will need two people and two ladders in order to mount. Straightforward installation but you Need some carpentry knowledge... how to find studs to install brackets, proper leveling etc. So far this awning has worked flawlessly for us. We love it. Not exactly sure how well the material will hold up to extreme sun and heat in Texas, but I believe if we take care of it and use it as intended, it should last a long time. Not for use in high wind. We love it. Excellent value. Thanks wayfair.

This retractable awning is great!! The installation is simple but you do need three people to put up. The instructions were very easy to follow. The quality of the product is great and the color looks great. It is very easy to open and close. Can’t wait to enjoy in warmer weather!

Do you research! For that price you can get automated awning elswhere, and keep in mind you will be charged crazy money to ship it back, so I ended up keeeping it even though it was not what I expected at all.

I just put it up this morning and it seems to work fine but havent used it a lot. I will have to use it more for the real test but so far so good.
