Great stand

This is the perfect umbrella stand. Lovely color. Handle and hidden wheels for easy movement, because it is HEAVY. Super easy to set up, and it looks lovely. Well packaged so it arrived in pristine condition.

This arrived broken, opened up all excited ready to place on my patio and when opened box this is what I saw. BUT….even though the actual supplier was beating around the bush, Wayfair reached out and sent out a replacement rt away. As should be. And I printed out a return shipping label and sent the broken one back. The replacement came with no damage and well packaged. And I LOVE it! It is just what I wanted. I have on e just looks it that is slightly smaller and lighter. This one solid and great heavy weight, though I can still drag it around without any problems.

The is essentially a slab of granite (first one arrived broken in the corner where the wheel was). There is a single bolt attaching the top stand / shaft, which is thin and hallow. Inclusion of a fender washer for the top for stabilization (or better, a welded washer) is a glaring omission. In moderate wind an umbrella and the shaft will wobble (in high wind conditions, the bolt might just flat out give). The screws are also a bit small and coarse. Overall, better stands can be had for better price points elsewhere.
