Waiting until spring to put together. The wood shade reminds me of cedar. The wood is smooth to avoid snagging clothes. Put together similar chairs and there are a lot of pieces. Recommend keeping chair out of the elements or covered during the winter to prevent deterioration.

Easy to put together, it only took 20 minutes by myself. The quality however isn’t up to par. I don’t think this will hold up to well for an average adult. It could be the foldable aspect of it doesn’t make the construction heavy enough. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

This is a great chair. Instructions suggest a drill. A drill is required. There are a few areas in which there is no pilot hole for the self drilling screws. The instructions were easy to follow. The wood looks like a tropical hardwood with a lovely grain. The chair is sturdy and comfortable to sit on.

The chair has some beautiful details in the woodwork and it was easy to assemble. However, is it definitely not as sturdy as other Adirondack chairs I've seen. It has a weight limit of just over 200 lbs. The wood is very soft, so I'm not sure how well it will hold up. The wood is not treated so I'll have to buy some stain or outdoor paint if I want to keep it outside. I do like that it folds, but the weight limit means that most of the men in my family won't be able to use it.
