1500 WATT INFRARED CARBON HEATING ELEMENT - Our 1500 Watt infrared carbon heater is a type of infrared heating device that uses a hydrocarbon filament instead of a tungsten filament as a heating element. Such a heating element has a high thermal conductivity and, accordingly, has a higher heat transfer.
AMBIENT LED LIGHT - You can use the LED lighting with or without heat. This makes your hanging EnerG+ infrared heater even more useful.
REMOTE CONTROL - The handy remote control lets you manage the heater bulb and the LED light at a distance. Pre-heat the zone before you go outside, or control the element and light from a distant seating area without the need to leave your comfortable spot. This remote offers full control of the heater including turning it on and off.
TIP-OVER PROTECTION - If the unit is knocked over by the wind, kids or even the family pet, it will shut off automatically to prevent any chance of fire. Just stand it back up and turn it on again. The wide & heavy base makes it difficult to knock over, but accidents happen and this feature will keep you safe even if you are not present.
WATER AND DUST RESISTANT - The IP24 rating allows you to leave this unit outside all season long and not worry about dust and water filtering in. If you accidentally spray it while watering flowers or cleaning there will be no harm done to the heater.

When it heats it heats well and the remote is a nice feature. However, it has a basic design feature that makes it almost useless. It seems to have a safety feature to keep it from overheating but this is a fatal flaw. After about 7 to 11 minutes it will turn off. Once it turns off you have to wait until the blue light flashes again, about 45 seconds. Then you can turn on the heat with the remote but it will shut off again in 2 min 30 ti 45 secs. It will keep turning off and you have to keep turning it on every 2 1/2in or so. If it would cool down and turn on again automatically once it has cooled that might be acceptable. But it doesn't. If it turns off it stays off. Buy this only if you want to wear out your thumb pressing the heat button again and again and again, etc.

This heater was advertised to have wheels. It does not come with wheels. The parts were not numbered but still easy to assemble. I have not used it since it is 95 degrees. Can't review the usefulness yet.
