These things are worthless. Only the innersmaller rod is weighted, so that end stays down. The other side of the hanging shade has no weight at all because the outer hollow bar is jus a shell. The unextended bar is useless as it doesn’t cover the8 ft width of the shade

Worst product I have ever purchased. The two pieces do not fasten together. One piece is heavy, and one piece is light, which causes an imbalance. the entire setup falls apart with even a moderate wind. Simply awful.
