I got this 3-piece set of rectangular planters from Wayfair for my front porch, and overall, I’m really happy with how they look. They have a clean, simple, slightly rustic style that works well with my house and gives the porch a more finished, intentional feel without being too fussy. I like that the set comes with multiple sizes because it makes it easy to create a more layered look instead of having one random planter sitting by itself looking lonely and confused. The planters are lightweight, which is both a good thing and something to be aware of. They were easy to move around when I was figuring out where I wanted them, but the metal is on the thinner side. Before they are filled with soil and plants, you definitely want to be careful handling them because they can dent. I did end up denting a couple while moving them around, so learn from my tiny planter tragedy. Once they have plants and soil in them, they feel much more stable and substantial. One important thing to know is that these do not come with drainage holes. For outdoor planters, especially in Florida, drainage is not optional unless you are trying to grow soup. I had to drill holes in the bottom myself, but it was very easy to do because the metal is thin. It only took a few minutes, and once the holes were added, they worked much better for actual planting. I used mine with colorful porch plants, and they really do make the space look nicer. The neutral metal finish lets the plants stand out, which is exactly what I wanted. They are decorative, affordable-looking in a good way, and practical once you make the drainage adjustment. Overall, I would recommend them if you want attractive lightweight planters and do not mind drilling your own drainage holes. Just be gentle with them before planting, because they are not heavy-duty metal. Once styled and filled, though, they look great.
