Table is stable, benches a little less stable

Much flimsier than I had imagined. The wood is extremely light weight. Not sure what it is, because it feels a lot lighter than pine. The wood is stained but not treated for outdoor use. Why sell a picnic table that isn’t capable of being used outside. Assembly has issues with the short screws being used to hold the top down. They often strip before grabbing the wood. Should have had better hardware. Time will tell.

Love fact benches separate from tables it is smaller then the one I had before but perfect easy assembly and immediate back yard fun

We liked this table a lot, saves space and it helps that the benches were not attached to the table. We love how it looks. But if you have two people seating on the sides and one stands up, the other one will go flying! My daughter had a bad fall because of weight unbalance. Not sure how the design could be improved. Now we just try to be careful.

This picnic table is better than advertised! Light, sturdy, seats 6 adults, nice stain color and stores in a compact manner when not being used. I read some reviews that made it sound too small or too flimsy or not the best wood (it's hemlock! - a great relative of spruce, pine and fir!) and I don't agree with them at all. When the ad says "seats 8 people," it is obvious from the dimensions that that number would include small children but some gripers in the reviews were disappointed that they couldn't fit 8 adults. I have no gripes. It was easily assembled and our family loves it! (also a decent price for the great quality!)
