Steel Package Drop

I wanted to have high hope with this. It is relatively cheaply made. We will use it to hopefully be a deterrent but it does feel like if someone really wanted to get inside it they could. The black paint color is nice and it is super modern and cute. The lock works easily and it was ready to go out of the box.

I got this for package drop box because of dogs constantly harassing our mail carrier and UPSfedEx drivers! I put this box half way down our driveway where our dogs do not have access to. I love that I can lock the bottom, and it’s just like the big blue mailbox drop boxes because once it goes in, you cannot get it back out from the top! We plan on securing this a little more in the future, maybe elevate it off the ground a little since it may be tough to get our packages out in the winter with snow.

This serves its purpose. It's lightweight, arrived in good condition, and has an okay value for the price. I like the mail slot up top and the way to retrieve the packages down below. The steel is thin and I wish it had a key to open the locker as bending down so low to access unlock the door is quite inconvenient.

It will do the job but Im not overly impressed. Its very light weight and will only hold small packages. The lock on it is pretty useless and definitely wouldnt keep someone out if they wanted to get in.

My box came in pretty fast. Nice size package container. Already came assembled in great condition with no defects. Not too heavy but sturdy enough. If you know you order a lot of smaller to medium size packages as we go this would definitely be a great little addition to your outside mailbox to give you more piece of mind when you can’t get to your packages right away and are concerned about the porch pirates. I’d recommend this one.
