First off, the pros,
We love the chairs, great size, looks great, exactly what I was searching for in an adirondack. No maintenance like wood, easy to fold and store away in winter, heavy enough to not get blown away in a storm but light enough to carry. Great chairs overall. Very comfortable and they have the curve in the arms, not straight. Which is fabulous.
Now the reason for only 3 stars, besides the awful manual that comes with them. Still easy to assemble non the less.
We purchased two of these chairs. First chair we built went together no issues, chains with pins on both sides, which are needed for folding up to store etc.
Second chair was missing the pin attached to the chain, it comes attached to the chair.
Wayfair has been trying to help rectify this situation, wayfair has been great trying to help get this sorted, however, because that part does not have a part #, as its not in the package of hardware, it comes already attached to the chair, we are having a real go around trying to get that one part.
One part, that should have come pre-assembled from Outsunny or whomever makes this chair for them.
As you can see by the photos here on the website, the chain is supposed to attach to the lower part of the chair, it attaches via a pin in a screw that is already pre attached to the chair. So we have one chair with a chain on one side just dangling in the breeze. Sigh
Such a simple detail, yet a real pain to get reified and we still have not rectified this.
Will update my review when/if we can get this sorted.
Update: we got an email saying part was ordered and would ship in August.
Now another email saying the part is no longer available. And nothing else. So what do we do now? Are we just stuck with a chair with the missing part?
Update. Wayfair is making this oops right. Thank you Wayfair. That's why I continue to shop here.
I do hope outsunny fixes their manufacturing issue.
