Very sturdy. Easy to put together. Not all that comfortable. There is a wood piece that goes straight across back of chair. No curve in it so it hurts your lower back. You don’t melt into it like you expect to. You have to sit stiffly. If I didn’t already put it together I would return it. Also the price I’d have to pay to return it is outrageous.

The rocker, once it finally got put together, seems to be sturdy and looks very nice. However, putting it together was a nightmare. Now, first of all, I'm very adept and assembling furniture and I've even built some furniture from scratch. But, about all the company did for you was cut out the pieces and paint them. I had to pilot drill all the holes, countersink them for the screw heads. I had to also glue the supports and the cross braces to the rockers, the seat and the arms and to do this I needed to use carriage clamps to maintain pressure while the glue dried. Considering the amount of assembly work necessary I don't believe this rocker is worth the price especially after I invested about 6 hours of my time in assembly and finishing.

Overall the chair seems to be great quality, but the instructions weren’t very clear and the screws and drilled holes weren’t ideal. Assembly was difficult.

I bought two of these chairs. They are very nice looking and sturdy. We had a heck of a time putting them together. We needed to use a ratchet strap to get the rockers on the pegs. We also needed to use 3 inch deck screws because the screws that came with the chairs just weren't long enough to screw the front of the seats down. I'm gonna give it 3 stars, but if I had paid the extra to have them built, I would give it 5.
