Great shower

I was very excited about this purchase because it was everything I wanted for an outside shower. The company in their description indicated that additional plumbing for water was not required since an outside faucet and hose could be used as the water source. Bingo! The shower I wanted! I had done a lot of research before ordering any shower. I was aware that many showers had to have outside plumbing, so before I began my shopping, I got an estimate for plumbing. The estimate: A minimum of $1075. I was purchasing the shower for my grands to get beach sand off their feet and not into my house, not for hygienic cleansing. When my shower arrived, I was so excited since it seemed to meet my needs: No additional costs for plumbing. My nephew helped, along with neighbors, and I needed the help since the directions were merely a diagram without a specific explanation. It took a crowd, not one person to figure out how to install the shower. However, the shower was not installed since we discovered this shower was specifically designed for attached plumbing, and that no way could an outside hose be used as a water source. I had spent hours going through every shower that was offered for sale and this discovery was very disappointing when I realized the shower was basically unless I wanted to spend a couple thousand dollars more. This was not an inexpensive shower, and when I called for information to return the shower, I was told I would have to pay for transportation and that was going to be over $200. I was upset, but finally I was able to get in touch with a customer service person from Wayfair who was so helpful. I showed her the discrepancy in the information printed by the company regarding installing the shower. She agreed with me, and I was able to send the shower as a return with no cost to me because of the information discrepancy. Thank you, Wayfair! I feel if it had been the actual company, all I would have gotten was words and no action, but Wayfair did come through!

We recently purchased the outdoor freestanding shower from Wayfair and, overall, the quality is quite good. The materials used in the shower itself are solid and feel durable, and the valves are of excellent quality—smooth to operate and clearly built to last. However, there are two significant design flaws with the mounting system that buyers should be aware of 1. Installation Process You must fully tighten all the parts and install the support bracket before fastening the unit down. This is essential to ensure you know the exact direction the shower will point when everything is secured. Failing to do so could result in misalignment and frustration during installation. 2. Support Sturdiness While the materials are high-quality, the support system lacks rigidity. Once installed, the shower does not feel as sturdy or stable as expected. This could be an issue for those who prefer a more solid, immovable fixture. In summary, the shower itself is made from good materials, the valves are excellent, and it performs well, but the mounting system and support could use improvement. With some careful attention during installation and perhaps additional reinforcement, this shower can be a great addition to your outdoor space.
