Item is light, not as heavy as I thought for outside. No drainage holes , but filling it with dirt might keep it from being blown over outside.

Absolutely fun! A little lighter than I thought, but once the soil and plant are in it, it should be stable and not tumble over.

Awesome unique planter. Well packaged with no shipping damage. Good quality materials with great detail and look up angle is perfect. One small drainage hole in top and one in bottom. Small to medium potted plants would probably work best as other customers have recommended. My wife fell in love with it a few days ago when it arrived as a surprise gift. Living here in Texas she is thinking about some unique cactus or succulent arrangement that would look good on Grumpy
