This is a huge polyester blanket that with practice, folds up nicely into a small, carry-able package. It’s a tad heavier than I imagined due to the pvc, which means it weighs itself down more than I imagined, but I haven’t been to the beach yet to try it out. I assume the hot sun won’t heat the mat, and it’s large enough for two to three people, and you can lay out a towel on top of it if needed. A little puzzle-like to put it back into the folding pattern, but all in all, a solid, beach-worthy product. Will report back after holiday.

This waterproof picnic blanket is like an unlined vinyl tablecloth. It was not exactly what I expected. I am not sure it will be comfortable to sit on and frankly the colors are not really appealing. I am not even sure if it will function as a tablecloth. It does fold upon to a rectangle with a Velcro closure.

Really nice size blanket. It’s perfect for the beach and it’s waterproof. Has a nice backing to it. The sand will just roll off. Like the colors and the stripes a lot. It folds up nicely and has a handle for carrying. I think you will be happy with this blanket like I am. Very happy that I finally purchased one.
