This is a poorly designed awning with very poor function as well. It buckles and lifts in the wind, as well as sags and holds *gallons* of water when there is heavy rain as we’ve had yesterday. My contractor who just completed an addition on our home installed this along with his carpenter. Said there is no way to correct the defects given the design. This was installed 3 months after the purchase, at completion of construction a few weeks ago. we were away when installed so I don’t know what recourse we have for refundreturn but what I can say is this is awful and does not come close to look in photos. Corners are not rigid and squared to hold fabric right to shed water. Did not want to provide even one star but needed to be able to submit review.

awning does not work after discovering a large pool of water stuck on top of the awning. we had to use a broom handle to raise the sunken middle of the awning to force the stuck water to be removed from the top of the awning. this defect will result in weakened awning material quickly and customer will face tears and holes in the awning quickly.

This thing is a joke. Clearly not made for outdoor use. Water pools at the top and flops around in the wind. Dumb design, should have a center brace to support the middle so it doesn’t sage. The fabric came frayed at some of the ends by the stitching. Not worth the price. First time buying from Wayfair and last.

I purchased this awning to replace a an awning that was bringing to fall apart. It arrived as promised and I knew it required assembly. I first went over the parts to make sure they matched with the instructions. First thing wrong was the part numbers did not match the instructions. The numbers on the parts were way off making the assembly confusing. The instructions were confusing too. Only a picture with how it should look. There is different directions from a 4-6 ft awning. More confusion. The quality of the material was flimsy at best. I could imagine a wind coming and taking it away like the wizard of OZ. Very disappointed and will return.

The instruction manual was not at all helpful. I had to google the product and found another manual that was much more helpful. Once assembled, it did not look like the picture. Fabric is not taught enough on the bottom, and certainly not on the sloped portion, as after a heavy rain, water began to pool at the base of the slope. I contacted the company and got a response the next day with suggestions to try to fix the tightness of the fabric. I did the suggested fixes to to tighten the fabric to no avail. I am dissatisfied with this product and will be returning.
