I was looking to update my weights for my canopy as I have my own business and travel quite often and do outdoor events. I was only using small 5lb circles as the base but with the way the weather has been I was afraid of the legs getting bent with how the circle makes the top weights lean against the canopy legs. This is not only heavier BUT it’s flat so the top weights will fit perfectly over this weight plate! I can’t wait to use them at my event next month!

My old one was accidentally ran over. I found this on Wayfair and it seemed to be exactly what l was needing. Turns out l was right! Now l have my beautiful umbrella back up doing its job because of this beautiful plate. Wayfair always have what you need.

Base plate weights are great, however they smell quite bad. Even after leaving them outside for a month, the rubber smell is still very strong. Would recommend leaving them outside for the first few months.

I'm not sure how these are going to work but the chemical smells is toxic. I had them in my car and the smell was so bad that when I removed them into our office lobby I had to open all of the windows and trunk. The smell permiatted my car so bad I had to get an order absorber and it still didn't work. I am now having it detailed. Hoping this will remove the horrible odor. Don't order these unless they will be ooutside from start to finish. Oh, and our lobby office reeks!

These weights have a very strong and nauseating chemical smell coming from them. To give you an idea of how strong the smell is. I rode with them in the trunk of my car for the weekend. I removed all the equipment on Sunday and a week later the smell is still in my car. But if you can get past the smell or have an idea on how to minimize it these are actually pretty good weights. They stack and can be transported on a dolly or cart easily and offer pretty good weight coverage.
