Kamado Joe Sear Plate for Joe Jr and ClassicJoe Grills

Does a good sear for an awesome steak on the Kamado Joe.

This plate allows me to put a good sear on my steaks and sausages, it also allows me to cook with my cast iron utensils. this is an amazing grill grate.

I'm so happy my wife purchased this for me. It is the best at searing steaks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use this with my Classic II to reverse sear. I start the cook with this plate already in so it’s very hot. All I do is remove the grates and put the steaks on the sear plate. 20 seconds, a 45 degree turn, flip an do the same on the other side. Wonderful!!!

Great product. Double sided for preference of grill marks. Can’t go wrong with cast iron. Actually slightly larger than standard grill great so increases your cooking area as well

I like the sear plate to get more grilling surface when entertaining than using the half moon cast iron grate

Used it twice within a week. Provides amazing sear marks. Very spacious as well, not the largest but will get the job done for a family of 4.
