We bought one of these last year along with a sturdy base and loved it, so this is our second one. The only change seems to be they moved the crank a bit lower on the pole, which is an upgrade so you don’t have to reach under the umbrella as much to start cranking. The first one has held up well, although we always put it down with any chance of wind overnight. We bought this second one for extra sun coverage.
