Doesn't really keep cold on it's own. Does keep ice packs cold longer though.

This little cooler was purchased for use with a luxury picnic my business had curated. we outfitted them into the trunk of a car and filled with food containers. they work well and with the in-line battery protector for the car they are very easy to use. One thing to note, these are not refrigerators in the traditional sense, they are not powerful enough to do any heavy cooling. we refrigerated all the items prior to putting them in the cooler and in on instance actually refrigerated the cooler itself before filling. this allowed us to get about 4-6 hours of nicely refrigerated food in the SoCal summer heat. also opening the cooler too often will also cause it to warm up quite quickly. If you respect what it is and use it carefully it is a great purchase. would recommend.
