Noise, what you do not experience from a website or print ad. This is a nice cooler but attention to noise was not an important design factor with this product. With current technology the fan should be silent, this product gets a bad review because of the noise generated by this product. I would have paid more for a quite option. I returned the product. Now I am not sure if any of the 12 volt coolers will have a quite fan.
