I purchased this patio umbrella only four months ago, and the main center mechanism has already completely broken apart. As the photos show, the component connecting the umbrella frame to the pole fractured, leaving the internal spring exposed and making the umbrella unusable. What is especially disappointing is the construction of this critical part. I initially assumed it was solid metalsteel, but after it broke, the fractured material appears to be a cast alloy rather than a strong structural steel component. This seems like a poor choice of material for a part that has to support such a large umbrella and withstand normal outdoor use. Four months of use is an unreasonably short lifespan for an outdoor umbrella of this size and price. The canopy itself is still in good condition, but the failure of one critical structural component has made the entire umbrella unusable. Very disappointed with the durability and build quality. I would not purchase this again unless the manufacturer redesigns or reinforces this connection point.

Excellent purchase, well built and the crank is important. Ordered and shipped immediately. The dark blue gives great shade in the Florida sun.

What’s not to like. I just love the unique look of this umbrella. It’s well made and love the 3 tiers . Many of compliments given by neighbors.

Beautiful umbrella! Great quality for the price. I love the air vents and ability to bend pole for sun direction. Color is vibrant! The sun is so hot here and it is holding up great!

This is a beautiful umbrella. Great quality. Love the slits in the umbrella as it brings in the cool air. Also, it prevents it from blowing over.
