At a $700 sale price I did not have high expectations for a 4 piece set. Price teak at a high end store and you will see the price will be 4x this price or more. Problems were: The hardware blister pack in the sofa box shattered and 1 of the 4 - 70mm L screws escaped the box and was lost. I had to machine my own replacement from a longer TimberLoc screw with same thread diameter. The tiny mount needed for the "Short middle leg" that was preassembled on underside of the seating base, immediately split and broke. The factory over drove the wood mounting screws and split the piece. I had to fabricate a 5" teak replacement, cut a pocket dado in it, reused the E-Z Loc bolt insert and glued and screwed it in place with 4 screws. The factory should look at the attached photo and redesign this mount to match or similar. Lastly, one of the 5 backrest cushions had a piece of edge piping that was unstitched, about 3" long. I had to pull apart the cushion and pull stitches and resew on a machine to repair it. This was a lot of repairs, not everyone could or should have to manage that much re-work, repair, for me it was easier than complaining and trying to return, metal work, woodwork and sewing required...You get what you pay for.

Great set. Some inconsistency with each piece- slightly different coloring with the stains, some pieces looked used. But we liked the weathered look so it’s fine for us.

yeah, sure the furniture is affordably priced...but...the finish on it is substandard and the unpacking experience was a nightmare. I literally spent more time cleaning up all the styrofoam bits flying around than I did actually assembling the furniture. Also, another review mentioned the screws and bolts being scattered inside the box, mine was too. I had to go hunting through a snow pile of styrofoam in the box to find the last screw. There are sections of the wood furniture that have been...slightly damaged?? Probably from the screws rattling around and rubbing the wood during shipment. The finish is cheap and it feels like it. If I had to guess, there's a guy with a spray gun of stain/finish hitting these up that gets paid by the number of pieces he can "complete" in a day. I would return this but I don't want to deal with the box filled with broken pieces of styrofoam, which is probably one of the reasons Wayfair uses this method.
