I have had this cooler for a few years now and can say it has performed very well on several multi-day camping trips. It is very rugged. Luckily I haven't had to find out if it is really bear proof. My guess is maybe bears are pretty smart. The insulation works well and the interior is spacious. There are a few things I am not too fond of. The molded in handles are awkward to use and don't provide a good grip surface. The outside shape of the cooler reduces the thickness of the walls in some areas which reduces the effectiveness of the insulating properties a bit. It is heavy empty it weighs in at ~30lbs. On average it weighs around 60 to 70lbs when filled with ice and food.

It's the best cooler I've ever bought!! Keep everything cooler and ice stays ice for days! I would buy it again

Looks great hoping it holds ice longer than the current cooler in this Florida heat.
