They work great! Good quality and look good against our wood posts.

Well made heavy material(does not appear to be made of cheap material) seems durable- will see how it hold up to weather and use.

Recently installed these gate hinges on a black aluminum fence. They perform well and have simple adjustment features for increasing or decreasing tension as required. They include decorative caps to go over the top hinge adjustment and the necessary self tapping screws of a higher gauge and size than the screws that came with my fence. Only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is the appearance. While they appear durable, the shape and finish don't have the refinement I'd prefer and combined with the exposed fasteners, they stick out more than I'd like on the simple aluminum 2" posts. I originally wanted to purchase aluminum rectangular hinges, but they weren't available. If the looks don't bother you, these hinges would definitely be a 5.
