Table basse Asther

The table assembly is easily enough—3 hex screws on each side. Problem is the middle screws would not extend to the holes—the sides were a bit warped, perhaps. Ive assembled a ton of things, so it’s not on me. I tried using a mallet and my own hex key with a long handle (highly recommend as it’s impossible to turn the hex key a full turn given the angle of the assembly). Still no go. Finally, I used my own longer screws and power drill in the middle holes as the table just did not feel secure without them. Somehow to pay this much for a table and not have it assemble properly is frustrating. I also would like to note that on the box it doesn’t say teak wood anywhere. It has a gray stain on it and really could be anything. Also the brand name is completely different. Hard to say what exactly I just bought—only that the quality did not match the price!

Great table for the pool house living area.

Description on the website says origin - Indonesia, but upon opening the box.. Underside of the table says made in China. Not sure what to make of it. A bit distressed rustic finish and color is more teak brown, with some greys not as light grey as online at all, but beautiful none the less. Having hard time looking for things to match as I thought it was more transitional style, but it is quite rustic. Easy to assemble just 6 screws using the provided Allen wrench. Seems well made and sturdy. Only time will tell.

Great accent piece and complements many woodtones easily.

Love this outdoor coffee table. It gets lots if compliments too. Also, it does well in all types of weather.
