Well made. Seems sturdy. Have not assembled but it looks simple enough.

This Lalonde Picnic Bench is made of strong solid wood. I went with the 17” H x 94 W x 11” D which I believe is the longest they offer. We chose walnut, a dark brown stain, as our color. It has a matte finish. The bench seats four people comfortably but keep in mind the weight capacity is 500 lbs. We have it outside in our playground, beneath two large oak trees, and hang out while our daughter plays outside. It is very sturdy. We have had it for about three weeks. During this time, it rained a total of maybe two or three days. The bench did not do too well. The wood started cracking and some part of the paint came off. I expected this as it is being used and “stored” outdoors but thought it should have lasted for a little bit longer in the elements. Overall, I am happy with the construction and design of the bench. I appreciate that it feels sturdy. I love the color and the size. Shipping was really fast. Packaging was well with no damage. Easy installation. Only took about 30 minutes. Completely worth the money. In hindsight, I would have just kept it in our outdoor living space but covered under our patio or an awning.

The Lalonde Picnic Bench is very simple. I was concerned that the 70 inch length might feel weak in the center, but this bench feel very sturdy even with a few people sitting on it. I selected the dark stain and am very happy with it.

Overall, it’s a beautiful piece. The only downside is that we did not have the proper tools given to us to complete this assembly. There were no predrilled holes so we had to make them ourselves which made for a more time consuming assembly. This bench is very sturdy and I could stand on it without so much as a noise!

Sturdy and good quality. I was disappointed to see how different the 2 planks of wood were stained for the bench. As the picture shows one is gray while the other is more distressed. The tools provided are not sufficient assembly. A drill is needed to start the hole to attach the legs and a socket wrench was used to tighten the bolts.
