We added the shade cover to keep the afternoon Sun off of our porch and from shining through the window). Adds more privacy, and also cools down the living room area. We like this idea better than having to install a shade. We added hooks to hold it up. And used zip ties and bungee cords to anchor it around the posts of our patio. If we decide to raise, we can just remove the ties or bungees. A simple and cost effective solution.

The shade cover is very nice, and appears to be well made. The grommets look to be sturdy. The color I chose was pretty, however did not go well with the pattern on my patio furniture, so I will return it for something different.
