Sturdy build quality, the shelf itself are made out of metal - not just the bracket - with a crinkle-black powder coated finish. Folding feature is a great space saver when smoker is not in use. Comes with two attachment brackets, one for each of the two types of Masterbuilt smokers it works with (so it’s not a one-bracket-fits-both, it has model-specific brackets for both types). Can’t comment on how it lines up as I modified it - not relating to fitment - prior to install.

Handy little shelf. Don't believe it would hold a lot of weight but is useful.

The shelf was a great feature add to my 30 inch digital electric smoker. Easy to install and folds up nicely so I can still got the cover I have with it. Allowed me space to keep bar b que utensils, serving plate, etc close by. Good purchase
