The chairs are sturdy and have promise....as long as you don't mind sanding and then staining or painting them. Not only is there no kind of protectant of any kind over the stain, both of the chairs I recieved had parts that were made of two different species of wood! Assembly was a breeze, but the majority of the wood was rough to the touch.

These are great. It was hard to put the wheels together because the holes weren’t large enough but we got it to work. Definitely need power tools for this.
