I like this bat house, and it is attractive, sturdy, and well made. It arrived on time and well packaged. It is a great value. It has a heavy duty wire attached to screws on the back to facilitate hanging. The wood is nice and thick. The wood which comprises the back, interior shelves, and shelf spacers are plywood, not simply a single piece of wood. This will hopefully be visible in 1 of the 2 pictures I am going to attach. I deducted 1 star because the front of the item does not have a black bat applique as is shown online. I actually prefer it this way, but if you are counting on it having the bat decoration, just be aware that it might not.

I love it and so does Benny, the bat! Benny had been living in our umbrella for four years, he moved to his new house the first week we put it up.

This bat house is very sturdy and well worth the price. Real cedarwood, which is exactly what the bats like.
