Very thin metal - feels and looks cheap. CRAZY price point for something that looks and feels like this.

I got the red, nice big and roomy for small packages and large envelopes. Bright and very noticeable for the postal service. Easy to hang and said to be rust proof, we will see. For the price this is the best I have found, for my purposes and it might be for yours too, the perfect mailbox.

I really love this mailbox! The punch of light blue color but with a more classic shapedesign was exactly what I was looking for. It seems pretty solid, and the paint finish is nice - good quality all around. The size is pretty generous. I put 7 magazines or catalogs in one of my pics to help as a size reference. It’s easily still 70 empty. I didn’t want to attach it to my house because the previously drilled holes from the old box weren’t centered under the light (which always bothered me), the rough stucco makes it too hard to get an evenflush hang, and I didn’t really want to drill new holes. So, I ended up attaching it to our porch railing with zip ties - so easy. Con my porch has NO cover at all - typical 1930’s cottagebungalow house. So, I knew from my past mailbox that it NEEDED drain holes. It was fairly easy to drill our own. I coated the exposed metal in a few coats of clear nail polish. Hopefully that’ll help with preventing rust. It would have been much better if it came like this! But this probably isn’t a concern for people with generously covered porches.

Looks wonderful on my house and is a great size to hold letter and small packages!
