It has a rugged metal construction with generous plastic handle that sits well in your hand. It looks and feels like you can leave it hanging off of your BBQ without worrying about the elements. The silicone basting end has almost a mop like quality to it, but short enough that it is accurate on small meats like chicken. Using the brush on some chicken thighs proved efficient. The end of the handle comes complete with a bottle opener that doubles as a sturdy loop to hang on a hook. Clean-up proved simple. All in all, a really nice quality product from Napoleon!

The silicone baster brush is a great functional addition to my bbq accessories and it does the trick! Thick silicone bristles holds the sauce well. The handle is both long enough to avoid getting too close, and includes a metal shaft so it won’t melt. It cleaned well in the dishwasher. My only critique is that the metal part of the handle is rounded nicely on one side, but hollow/concave on the other which may make it harder to clean within the corners. Overall satisfied with this basting brush and look forward to saucy BBQ chicken this summer!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I needed a decent brush for bbqing and have been testing this out. It's a good brush that get's the hob done and will last you. My only quam is there could be some grip closer to the bristles as I find I'm doing finer brushing... like the finiahing touches to a painting.
