Stainless Steel Griddle Insert for Prestige PRO, Prestige, Built-in 700 Series, and Rogue 525 & 625 Models

Worked better than advertised

i just received this griddle insert, it is -20 outside - when do you expect me to try it out,,,,,maybe in about 5 months. Ask me then!

The griddle itself is a good quality product. My concern is with the grease management. I cooked bacon and had 2 internal fires below the 2 corner holes. Once the griddle was cleaned and cooled down I removed the griddle and it did appear clean in the firebox. So I’m unsure? One other note, I have a Prestige Pro 500. The griddle fits well from to back but both sides are short by approximately 1.5”.

Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. Cooking with it is a fantastic experience, and I don’t have to add flat top that would occupy more space on my deck.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this griddle a couple weeks ago and have used it twice…..had NO idea how versatile it would be! Family brunch with pancakes and bacon on the griddle outside was SO fun and cooked it all beautifully ……and made me feel like a diner chef ☺️Here is stir fry veggies and chicken burgers home made, responded to temp changes really well and cooked perfectly !! Glad I didn’t rush to buy a Blackstone griddle, this cooks amazing !
