For the Price - This thing is Great. I am really enjoying and so far, holding up steady. I live in the almost always Sunny, Southern California so it has not had to endure much weather related pressure, however it has rained twice. The wind will blow the shade off the magnets and it slides, unless you strap it down with the Provided velcro wrap. My problem is that I am too short to reach it so it would require a step ladder for me every time I want to open or close it... so I personally just leave it unstrapped, and if it blows open too far, i just push it back. also the wind blowing the shade can cause a bit of noise as the fasteners that slide the shade back and forth make a bit of a clanging. Nothing you can't get used to, as I already have. but initially it could be annoying. Since the columns are metal, you can actually hang up magnets on them for an added personal decor that isn't permanent like a sticker. The lighting strip that is built in works good, however, it is extremely dim lighting, mainly gives alil ambiance but does not light up the space fully, so I added a wrapped sting of lights from pole to pole that I already had and definitely helped. Otherwise, I love it... the heighth of it gives a nice cover patio feel and the ability to open or close the shade is the BEST part, so I am very happy.

I like this pergola but we have run into a few issues. The light button does not work so the lights stay on and the hooks come out of the sliders so you have to fix that constantly. For the price it is a good purchase. I am building columns around the legs to give it a sturdier look. It took my 17 year old and I 2 days to put up. About 8 hours total. Not too bad

Was a lot of parts in that heavy box! Took my husband and me all day to put it up. Some of the holes weren’t lined up correctly and sometimes the instructions were more confusing than helpful. Be prepared for a frustrating time but the end results are nice and shady!

Product seems ok ,but instructions are terrible. We have ordered items before from Wayfair and have had no problems with putting together, but this was the worse, took hours.
